The Punjab government submitted a letter to the Islamabad High Court for rejecting the bail of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, stating that Nawaz Sharif could not satisfy the Punjab government on medical grounds.
According to details, the Punjab government wrote a letter to the High Court on the extension of bail of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. An appeal of Nawaz Sharif is being heard in the Islamabad High Court.
Sources say that the Punjab government has informed the High Court to reject Nawaz Sharif’s bail and at the same time has submitted a request to reject Nawaz Sharif’s bail.
The letter states that Nawaz Sharif could not satisfy the Punjab government on medical grounds. The committee’s proposal was sent to the Punjab government, which rejected the extension of bail.
Raja Basharat said that Nawaz Sharif has not been admitted to any hospital in London for 16 weeks till now. On request of the Chief Minister of Punjab, a Medical Board was constituted which convened several meetings and reviewed all the reports and made this decision.
