During the visit of Turkish President Tayyip Erdo an, Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Pakistan and Turkey on cooperation in 13 different fields, including military training.
The Strategic Cooperation Council meeting of Pakistan and Turkey was held in which Prime Minister Imran Khan represented Pakistan and Turkish President Tayyab Erdogan represented Turkey.
After the meeting, 12 MoUs were signed to increase bilateral trade, increase cooperation in various sectors including railways, transport, postal services, infrastructure, tourism, culture, and food.
Amir Manzoor, Managing Director of PTV on behalf of Pakistan Television and Turkish TV TRT signed a Memorandum of Understanding while DG Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation Samina Waqar signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of radio.
A Memorandum of Understanding was also signed in the tourism and culture sector. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Turkish Halal Accreditation Agency and the Pakistan National Accreditation for the approval of Halal items and to enhance their cooperation in this regard.
MoU was also signed between Turkey Aerospace Industries and the National University of Science and Technology. Federal Minister for Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain signed the memorandum.
Federal Minister for Communication Murad Saeed signed a Memorandum of Understanding for facilitating trade between Pakistan and Turkey and cooperation between the two countries in the field of Postal Services.
Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed signed a Memorandum of Understanding in the Department of Railways. Defense Minister Pervez Khattak signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of military training.
Turkey’s Minister of Commerce and Advisor, Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Turkish Ministry of Commerce and the Federal Board of Revenue.
