Government announces closure of educational institutions nationwide till May 31. The government will decide to open educational institutions after Ramadan and Eid Ul Fitr. People will have to stay in their homes to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.
In a media briefing after the National Security Committee meeting, Federal Minister Asad Omar said that a meeting of the National Security Committee was held in which a National Coordination Committee was formed.
Today was the fifth meeting of the National Security Committee. We are moving forward with a strategy to tackle Corona. Health-related staff are our mujahideen. The virus has spread to more than 182 countries of the world. People have to stay in homes to prevent the spread of corona.
Shafqat Mahmood said all provinces have been contacted and it has been agreed that all educational institutions will remain close till May 31st across the country. Educational institutions will also be closed in Ramadan.
The provinces have to work together to defeat Corona. Asad Omar said that there is no shortage of wheat anywhere in the country, nor is there any shortage of flour. Wheat is abundant.
On the other hand, 8 deaths from Corona are confirmed in Pakistan while the total number of cases has exceeded 1100.
